Nanny Diaries, The
Scarlett Johansson takes a job for Laura Linney's Fifth Avenue rich bitch in this comedy-drama, co-directed by the team behind American Splendor
Adapted by the husband-and-wife team who were Oscar-nominated for the inventive American Splendor, The Nanny Diaries treads very similar territory to The Devil Wears Prada.
Both are set in New York and based on books that concern the experiences of ordinary young women trying to find their way in the world amid the grotesqueries of wealthy Manhattan.

Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini wrote and directed the film, and their last effort was the splendidly original and funny American Splendor. Given their involvement and the casting of such talented actors as Scarle...
Dull Diaries
I have an eclectic taste in films and will watch almost anything - unfortunately this one did not keep my interest. I gave this 1 star only because it had some well known faces.
