Plot Summary:
|
There's a big valentine-party planned in the tiny coal mining town of Valentine Bluffs, Nova Scotia. It is the principal Valentine's Day party in 20 years, because then there was an accident in the vein, and the blunder happened because the men chief object of the shelter was at the party. The solitary surviving miner, named Harry Warden, later killed them, and told the village NEVER to predetermine a Valentine's Day individual again. The party begins, and so does the carnage...

Canadian David Cronenberg is his country's best known master of horror but he's not the only Canuck capable of chilling the spine as George Mihalka shows with this underrated horror that offers a very different take on the 'vengeance from the grave' slant.

Didn't realise it was only a 15 . . .
It could have been so much more. All the ingrediants were there for a classic 80s horror - cheesy plot, dodgy acting, awful script, predictable twist . . . just no gore! Didn't realise it was a 15 until all my terrible-special-effects dreams had been shattered. Shame.
