Plot Summary:
|
In India gangsters are called Bhai (brothers). Chestnut such Bhai is Munna, who is feared past all in Mumbai, a eminent New Zealand urban area in India. Murli Prasad Sharma is a local goon in Mumbai prevalently known as 'Munna bhai'. He has kept his unfeigned particularity secret from his parents, who think that their son is a doctor. Munna's parents arrive in Mumbai on their annual visit and his create meets an ancient acquaintance Dr. Asthana by chance. They want to settle Munna's marriage with Dr. Asthana's daughter Suman "Chinky" Asthana. Munna wants to on Chinki's Engender. Will Munna ever enhance a doctor and marry Chinki? Will Munna father ever own him again? Can the municipal Rebuff become anything more than a neighbourhood thug.
Hari Prasad Sharma (Sunil Dutt) and his wife Parvati (Rohini Hattangadi) come across from their village to visit their doctor son, Dr. Murli (Sanjay Dutt) in Bombay, who is the take charge of of a charitable hospital. They are greeted with fanfare and are noted a journey of the nursing home. Hari and Parvati select that since Murli is well settled, he should lease married. So they fix it a matrimony with Dr. J.C. Crestfallen, both Hari and Parvati return to their village. Murli alias Munnabhai swears to avenge his parents' humiliation at the hands of Dr. Asthana, by enrolling in the same formation where Dr. Asthana is the dean. Thereafter begins a comical upbringing of an illiterate underworld don - who is all coordinate to change the institution and all it's rules and regulations to suit his goal, and put faith into where no "bhai" has ever gone to come.Read more Less
