Plot Summary:
|
Rick Robinson is a ladder-climbing law intern from Miami with four days until the Pub Exam. Desperate to score points with his boss (McAllister), he commits to a favor he can't be able. He ends up in a rundown commerce headed to L.A. with his boss's possessions, his Hollywood-bound niece, and her pet pig. Amidst snag-hikers, breakdowns, and assorted native yokels, Rick finds attachment, life and maybe himself in this trans-American thruway expedition from hell.

Could have been a good film!
I awarded the one star to the cinematographer who did an excellent job. This film has an indulgent and sloppy script which, when paired with an intensely irritating female leading actress, results in a painful 1.5 hours.
Watch Napoleon Dynamite again instead
This is such bilge, the premise sounded ok, I love Jon Heder and the (very similar) roles that he plays in his films. I paid £1 from Virgin On Demand and wish that I could get my money back!!
The film just has no plot just a series of random sketches most of which irritate in the extreme. The characters are unlikable and at points unwatchable. I stuck it for an hour in the desperate hope that when Jon Heder appeared the film would improve.
It really has no redeeming features and I can't think of a positive word to say about it.
