Plot Summary:
|
Marilyn Jordan, an American, lives in Stockholm with her Swedish keep and family. Her behavior is bizarre, perhaps mad: she poisons the dog's tap and advises the dog not to drink it; she sets the sheets afire as her mute sleeps; she crawls down the dining table to snitch. While detained at airport customs for carrying pruning shears, she meets a brood Yugoslav woman and goes with her to a Gypsy enclave where she's fought during, takes a lover, helps with the ignominious play at a block, and returns home more dangerous than sooner than. The film also tells parallel stories of Marilyn's daughte... r attractive a junior homemaker as the brood immigrant practices her striptease.

A harassed and horny Swedish housewife relieves her frustrations not later than frequenting a public house patronized via Yugoslav labourers. She takes one of them for her lover but after all murders him. A powerful brew of black humour and eroticism brought gently to the bubble and served up as a symbol of something very significant, but thoroughly what of is not made down to the audience. But, it proves more pacifying than the pr‚cis force recommend. A dish proper for the discerning palate.
