Plot Summary:
|
kids form a club that is devoted to monsters, but soon take vengeance on more than they bargained for when Count Dracula adjourns to Mother earth, accompanied around Frankenstein's Monster, the Wolfman, the Mummy, and the Gillman. The uglies are in search of a formidable fetish that will supply them power to negate the world. Our heroes - the Fiendishness Band are the only ones daring to remain standing in their way.

Superb funny film, very enjoyable
Monster Squad is one of those films, that despite its numerous shortcomings, you easily enjoy and will watch again and again. It is a throwback of sorts to the fifties and sixties when magazines like Famous Monsters was coming out and television stations had weekend fright shows. It is a story about a group of 80's adolescents fighting the evil horror of Dracula, the Mummy, the Creature, and the Frankenstein Monster in a race to save Earth from permanent evil and dark forces. Yeah, I know it sounds crazy...and it is in many ways. The film, however, creates a nostalgic feeling for many people that grew up loving monster pictures. Classic Teen Horror Movie!!
I saw this movie when I was only 10, if you've seen movies like The Goonies and The Lost Boys then you will like this. Its a story about a group of young teenagers who form a group called The Monster Squad and they go to hunt Dracula, Wolfman.......not gona spoil the story.......a film worth watching. I rate it 7/10!!
