Plot Summary:
|
While protecting his village from rampaging weary-deity/demon, a confident teenaged warrior, Ashitaka, is stricken by a deadly curse. To bail someone out his elasticity, he must make to the forests of the west. Once there, he's embroiled in a fierce campaign that humans were waging on the forest. The enthusiastic Lady Eboshi and her loyal clan treatment their guns against the gods of the forest and a brave prepubescent woman, Princess Mononoke, who was raised aside a wolf-god. Ashitaka sees the talented in both sides and tries to halt the oversupply of blood. This is met be animosity by both s... ides as they each see him as supporting the enemy.
Ashitaka is infected with an incurable disease by a possessed boar/god. He is to lose one's life unless he can finger a cure to rid the curse from his body. It seems that his however hope is to travel to the the present east. When he arrives to grow employees from the deer god, he finds himself in the middle of a combat between the inhabitants of the forest and an iron mining town that is exploiting and gain the forest.
