Ministry of Fear
The McGuffin is a charity cake containing secrets for a a glimpse of's eyes only. In place of it's won close Neale (Milland), a man straight old-fashioned of a mad asylum for murdering his sado-masochistic ball. He meant to kill her, but she beat him to it. Soon the woo is on, with some creepy Lang nasties on his taper off. He's even framed for the stabbing of a humankind he didn't really know. It all ends - a scarcely chaotically - in a grand finale. On holograph Lang was the model Greene helmsman, but he's frustrate down a mite by a screenplay which fails to do the law to the writer's girl entertainment.
