Plot Summary:
|
A well-made drama based on the energy of the virtuoso British criminal John McVicar, and based on his autobiography. Starring Roger Daltrey as the eponymous anti-hero, MCVICAR realistically depicts many of the often shocking and brutal aspects of prison passion, and his eventual rehabilitation. PORRIDGE this ain't.

McVicar
This is an ill-conceived account, based on his autobiography, of nation luminary John McVicar's get away from Durham prison. The Who's Roger Daltrey was one of the producers and the band had a shackles in the noisy, incompatible lull make an impression. Daltrey also attempts the role of McVicar, while another pop thrush, Adam Faith, plays his mate Walter. Tom Clegg directs it all in dash-bang Sweeney latest thing. You can't help compassionate that British producers should leave jail-intermission adventures to the Yanks. It power enjoy been a lot more stimulating to learn how McVicar came to farther away from his BSc in the clink (this is merely a revelation in the film's vanish credits).
McVicar
Some smart sequences don't forbid this from being an exploitation item.
