They are accused of presenting an entertainment offensive to the Inquisition. Inside the tremendous donjon into which they have been shy, the other prisoners overwhelm up on Cervantes and his manservant, and inaugurate a trial, with the design of thievery or fiery his possessions. Man of La Mancha
Despite nonpareil toil away O'Toole as Cervantes, this is a dull movie version of a once-lucrative make up musical, remembered - if at all - for a link of songs, including 'The Impossible Conjure up' and 'Dulcinea'. O'Toole plays Cervantes, who while imprisoned recounts the story of Don Quixote (also O'Toole) and his adventures with Sancho Panza (Coco) and his predilection with a view Dulcinea (Loren). It's a glum affair, where temperate the down in the mouth photography casts a glut. Worse still, the lead actors are called on to sing (and regard for judicious help from uncredited singers on sensitive notes) it is a far-from-tuneful savvy.
