Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome
Extravangant climax of the marvellous Mad Max trilogy, with Gibson facing off against Tina Turner
The Mad Max films just kept getting better, and this last one of the trilogy is superb entertainment. Gibson has come a long way from playing the biker in the first one, battling his way through a post-apocalyptic Australia in an action-packed, intelligent thriller. The appearance of Turner (along with a couple of hit songs) adds class to the proceedings.
Larger in scale than even Mad Max 2, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome is the most comprehensive realisation of Miller's post-apocalyptic Australia (although he only co-directed, as he was mourning the death of his production partner, who died in a helicopter accident while scouting for the film).

Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome
Ive always liked the 'mythology' of the MadMax series of films.Basically, its 'The Man With No Name',set in the future. This is the third and weakest in the series.Everything seems to be watered down, from the plot to the violence and even the car chases.Tina Turner is ok as Aunty Entity and Mel Gibson is solid as Max.It's still enjoyable and worth a watch but its a bit like my school report-could of done better!
