Plot Summary:
|
J.J. McQuade is a Texas Ranger who doesn't methodically apply the rules, is unruly, and prefers to work alone, which earns the handle, Lone Wolf McQuade. When he discovers some criminals have automatic weapons, he discovers that they were stolen from the military. He tries to control on his own, as usual, but in the destination, an old friend, and a prisoner, whom he was keeping wraps, are killed. He is then relieved of customs. But then an FBI agent, who also wants to outsmart these guys, offers to help McQuade, and along with a rookie, they track down the out.

Lone Wolf McQuade
This is very likely the choicest flicks fight-irons hero Chuck Norris has ever made. He plays a Texas Ranger battling evil gunrunner David Carradine in this modern western, which is styled after the put to good of Italian maestro Sergio Leone. Barbara Carrera provides the love percentage in a dank subplot, but the push of director Steve Carver (another Roger Corman protégé) in any case remains geared in the direction of the wonderful-macho elements — hard-working, unuttered heroes and villains, loads of weaponry in every shape and rate, and self-styled enigmatic warriors playing dirty.
