Plot Summary:
|
Tracey Empathy's days of old won't admit her travel. Old 32, she's spent the erstwhile four years recovering from her heroin habit and redeeming herself in the eyes of her mother. Beset beside the complex relationships within her family, her over the moon marvellous is thrown into further turmoil by the unexpected takings of her ex-boyfriend, Jonny.The criminal aspirations of her brother, Ray, and coping with the attempts of ex-footy star and junkie, Lionel Dawson to pull back from his habit, on the brink of establish too much. The complexity of deceit within Tracy's own life is mirrored nigh... that within Sydney's drug underworld as Tracey becomes tangled with criminal boss Bradley 'The Jockey' Thompson. Tracey has to confront her own fears before she learns to love again.

Another Fab Aussie Film
This is a character driven, thoughtful film with beautifully nuanced performances from a talented cast. It's a satisfyingly slow burner of a film where the relationships between the complex characters unravel gradually. A chance also to see Sam Neill looking remarkably like Terry Wogan. Excellent
