His whimsical blend of shyness and uncontrolled exhibitionism attracts the attention of two of the university's social elite - Federico Garcia Lorca and Luis Bunel. Salvador is concentrating into their youthfully decadent group and for a one day Salvador, Luis and Federico become a formidable triplet, the most ultra-m... odern association in Madrid. However as time passes, Salvador feels and increasingly clear-cut pull toward the charismatic Federico - who is himself oblivious of the attentions he is getting from his appealing writer associate, Magdalena. In the face of his friends' preoccupations - and Federico's growing illustriousness as a minstrel - Luis sets off for Paris in search of his own artistic triumph. Federico and Salvador devote the holiday in the sea-side township of Cadaques. Both the unspoilt surroundings and the warmth of the Dali set march Federico far-off his feet. The year is 1922, the city is Madrid, and three creative geniuses just happen to be lodging together ...
