Not a bad film
Ok ???....... just.
Not a bad film, very simple storyline, nicely filmed, not very demanding.
Tom Cruise is very `wooden? in this one, Mia Sara lapses into a very American accent on occasion, which spoils things a tad.
The Devil is great (not a religious observation) the voice over is perfect,(..er umerrm, not that I have ever spoken to the Devil) characterisation and effects not bad for the time.
To sum up, it?s a sort of children?s version of LOTR meets the Chronicles of Narnia.
Legend
Slater is the Billie Jean of the title, who becomes a criminal sought nationwide when she and her brother shoot a man who tries to assault her. They go on the road, pursued by amiable cop Coyote, and soon their story reaches the media. Slater and her friends are regarded as heroes by the young folk of Texas but reviled as violent hoodlums by everyone else. Unfortunately, the improbabilities of the storyline are exposed rather than hidden by Robbins's slack direction and Slater doesn't seem to know where she's going with her role.
Legend

He takes her to sit down with the model surviving unicorns, little crafty that the Lord of Darkness (Tim Curry) has his own immoral script as regards the mythical creatures. Curry prancing in every direction with horns and yellow eyes is certainly the most fancy in the film over, which surprisingly did nothing to dim Cruise's rising star and it was sole four concise years later that he received a...
Legend
Plush fairy history for the few grown-ups who maintain use by reason of such a point. More to look at than to listen to.
