Plot Summary:
|
An "aspiring Hollywood actress" (Vinessa Shaw), on a befall to a charming North England town, has a thumbnail fling with the town funeral director (David Tennant), who also writes obituaries over the extent of the local wallpaper. Returning home, where she works as a waitress at a Japanese restaurant, she tells each helter-skelter the handsome "paragrapher" she met on her sightsee. Unfortunately, he decides to follow her slyly to Hollywood, mounting up the expected light unpractical comedy with asides as the newcomer gains experience about the goings on in Hollywood.
