Plot Summary:
|
True story about a girl who falls in mate with a extreme rapist and assassin. Karla Homolka marries Paul Bernado despite already having aided him in the rape and with concrete overshoes of her younger sister. Toe their marriage he brags to her about other rapes he commits and involves Karla herself in the sexual charge and manslaughter of three female victims. Told from Karla's juncture of view.

Disturbing.
For those of you who enjoy watching crime stories, you should find this movie quite gripping.
If only for the reason that the crimes committed by these two were quite horrific, and made all the worse by the fact that this is based on a true story.

I was in Canada during the time these events took place, and I remember the press and media information, and the police investigation as it was progressing. While I found the overall approach of the film tactful and close to the facts, this film more or less presents Karla as a victim of her love for Paul, which is far from the case as revealed by the investigation.
