Plot Summary:
|
Disney's 'Man Cub' Mowgli (verbalize of Haley Joel Osment) is go in this mechanical issue to the 1967 archetypal. Mowgli, instantly living with an adopted division in a jungle village, is homesick proper for his jungle adventures and his good friends, Baloo the Bear (reveal of John Goodman) and Bagheera the Panther ( of Bob Joles). But because the villagers believe that the jungle is a perilous for children, Mowgli isn't allowed to visit. Bored and solo, he dreams of his nonchalant days in the jungle and for all time runs away from his new home to visit the jungle and the friends he radic... al behind. This age he is followed nearby his neighbour Shanti (voice of Mae Whitman) and together they meet Baloo and friends inasmuch as more adventures. The gaiety-loving, jovial uphold is euphoric to probe his old friend, and a little green-eyed of Shanti, but together they allowance some spirited JUNGLE BOOK moments, to the coordinate of original classics Bare Necessities and I Wanna Be Like You and new hits W.I.L.D. Mowgli is thrilled that things in the jungle haven't changed, until he realises that Shere Khan (voice of Tony Jay) the Tiger is thirsty for revenge and ominous to abuse his jungle extraction. Together with Shanti, Baloo, Bagheera, and some untrodden faces like Convenient the Vulture (Phil Collins) Mowgli forced to keep Shere Khan chestnut matrix term.

Enjoyable film for the family
This film is a continuation from where Mowgli joined the man village from Jungle Book 1.
It was entertaining for the kids and myself and the music scores were good. The animation and the character voices were as close to the original. Altogether a good kids film if not a little short.
The depth of the story could be deeper but matched the original as well as providing continuation. Great film for a rainy Sunday afternoon!

The Disney studio's penchant for producing overdue sequels to its animated classics has created a lucrative sideline for voice artists with a gift for mimicry. And with the stars of the 1967 Jungle Book now pushing up the daisies, there's a morbid fascination in hearing how John Goodman's Baloo the Bear stands up against the late Phil Harris, or Tony Jay channelling George Sanders' spirit as Shere Khan the Tiger.
