Plot Summary:
|
Teenaged Mowgli, who was raised past wolves, appears in a village in India and is adopted next to Messua. Mowgli learns one language and some human ways at once, even if keeping jungle ideas. Influential Merchant Buldeo is one-sided against 'beasts' including Mowgli; not so Buldeo's pretty daughter, whom Mowgli takes on a jungle tour where they realize a treasure, setting the evil of human greed in gesticulation.
