Plot Summary:
|
What if a gun had a man? A gigantic mobile weapon from another planet is sent to destroy Ground, but is damaged on tourist and loses its memory. It is willingly befriended by a sophomoric youth, Hogarth, who is an outcast at prepare and relishes the chance to have a real friend. Putting, soon the paranoid government agent Kent Mansley arrives in town, definite to annul the colossus at all costs.

A wonderful animated film, based on poet Ted Hughes' book 'The Iron Man', that is as dramatically satisfying as it is graphically impressive. Set in a small American town in the 1950s, the film tells the story of a young boy who befriends a hulking robot from outer space, although the benign creature reveals hidden destructive capacities when threatened by military paranoia.
