Understandably, this good-natured spoof on the Blaxploitation movies of the 1970s never takes itself seriously, and nor should we. The baddie is stainless Mr Big (Vernon), a pusher in the ghetto - not of drugs but gold chains and medallions, which the locals overdose on by wearing too innumerable. Spade (Wayans) is out to avenge his brother's death and decontaminate up the field. Episodic, measure overlong, but choc full of jokes, it takes an warm look back to a cordial of liberation. Stars including Brown, Hayes and Fargas turn up overdressed and past armed in jaunty greeting to themselves when minor.
