Ice Harvest, The
John Cusack is the mob lawyer who tries to cut and run with two million dollars of his boss's money in Harold Ramis' comic noir thriller
Charlie Arglist (Cusack) tries to take out a gangster with a rifle load of buckshot. Peppering the bad guy's face with lead pellets certainly makes an impression, but it's not enough to knock him dead. The same could be said of director Harold Ramis' (Groundhog Day) scattershot approach to Scott Phillips' pulp novel. don't bother
I thought with John Cusack the movie is good, but it stops there. The start is good but it goes downhill from there.I was trying to understand the movie , but after a while I gave up. The plot is bad although the acting is good. Overall the movie is rubbish. It is a waste of time and money to rent this one.
Not to miss if you like black humor and suspense rolled in 1
How can this not be a great movie, when you have the most legendary phrase of all time in it: [after shouting the guy in the chest] 'You're dead Roy, you are dead, don't stand there and pretend you are not!' Hilarious! I really liked this film, great dark humor, supurb dialogue, wrapped in a good story line. Watch it I say.
