I Am David is adapted from Anne Holm's internationally acclaimed novel North to Candidness. An infuriatingly soppy adaptation of Anne Holm's 1963 romance of the nonetheless star, I Am David sells itself - in the wake of the international attainment of The Passion Of The Christ - on the shade aplomb of Jim Caviezel, yet though he's literally in it representing about 10 minutes.
