Plot Summary:
|
Edward Walters, an auto mechanic, falls in the interest the intelligent and elegant Catherine Boyd. It is charge from at first neat. There is anyway a problem, she's affianced to jerk James Moreland. Fortunately, Catherine's uncle likes Ed, and with his friends they scheme to make Catherine die for Ed. The comedy in this flick picture show stems from the the gen that Catherine's uncle is none other than Albert Einstein, who's portrayed as a teasingly loving flair, as are his bad colleagues, Nathan, Kurt and Boris.

I.Q.
Don't let the title fool you, there's nothing clever about this ditsy romantic comedy which, despite the strong premise of having Matthau, Ryan and Robbins in the same film, fails to come up trumps. Matthau is Einstein who, when his niece (Ryan) falls for a garage mechanic (Robbins), contrives to make him seem a genius. Brilliant. Except that it isn't, it's a stodgy lump of slow, ridiculous piffle and provides Fry with a film debut he'd probably rather forget about.
