It's tempting to compare this clandestine cop movie with Cruising, where Pacino gets drawn into the New York City S&M cosmos, proper as London cop John (Dinsdale) gets mixed up in the equitable less attractive existence of football hooliganism. He and associate cop Trevor (Graham) infiltrate a inflexible joint and join the hard boys in their steely drinking. Gradually boyish John gets obsessed and becomes a given of the clique to a certain extent than the stalker. The problem is that the world he inhabits appears, for all the unpleasant vehemence, unconvincing. One image of the resilience 2000 repellent between the Turks and the Brits in Copenhagen tells us more about the fascist mentality of such people that the whole of this film.
