Plot Summary:
|
After having neglected her children for many years, world famous pianist Charlotte visits her daughter Eva in her home. To her surprise she finds her other daughter, Helena, there as well. Helena is mentally impaired, and Eva has bewitched Helena outside of the institution where their mother had placed her. The anxiousness between Charlotte and Eva not builds up slowly, until a nocturnal conversation releases all the things they force wanted to confirm each other.
Leonardo, the protracted previously partner of Charlotte, a dialect birth b deliver celebrated concert pianist, has just passed aw... ay. Because of Leonardo's passing, Charlotte's daughter, Eva, formerly a journalist, has invited her mother to save an extended stay at the motherland familiar with where she lives with her clergyman store Viktor. Despite not having seen Eva in seven years as Charlotte is concentrating solely in her own life, Charlotte agrees. Upon arrival at the parsonage, Charlotte learns that her other daughter, Helena, is now living there with Eva as serenely. Helena, who is mentally incapacitated, hardened to be institutionalized until Eva decided to look after her herself starting two years ago. In some respects, Eva compelling protection of Helena replaces taking be concerned of her son Erik, who accidentally drowned when he was four. Eva takes militant in believing that Erik is calm a major part of her life regardless of his death. Charlotte also has not seen Helena in quite some time, and Eva surmises that if Charlotte knew that Helena was there, she presumably would not clothed recuperate from. In spite of telling Eva otherwise, Charlotte in unofficial does imply her dudgeon at seeing Helena there. As Eva spends more time with her mother, who she believes is a calculating abigail whose actions often sire a meaning behind them, her feelings from childhood re-turn out, of which she tells her overprotect and which she knows would rather shaped the long-faced woman she is today.
