Plot Summary:
|
In the year 2025, the ozone layer is believed to get been destroyed. It is up to MacLeod and Rameriz to set things face. Opposition comes from both the planet Ziest (MacLeod and Ramirez's homeworld) and a corporation profiting from the supposed lack of ozone. Also, flashbacks show the story-line behind MacLeod and Ramirez's exile from Ziest.

Highlander II: The Quickening
Frankly appalling sequel to a movie that never actually deserved to be franchised in the first place (although to date it's spawned a further two sequels and a long-running TV show). Lambert and Connery (albeit for about five minutes) return as immortals MacLeod and Ramirez, this time in a futuristic storyline in which they have to save the world after the ozone layer has been destroyed. Corporate corruption, evil aliens and flashbacks to their past, which only serve to confuse what we have already learnt about them, are also thrown into this pointless ramble.
