Plot Summary:
|
Dr. Richard Thorndyke arrives as new administrator of the Psychoneurotic Institute for the Surely, Sheer Nervous to discover some suspicious goings-on. When he's framed for mutilate, Dr. Thorndyke must confront his own psychiatric condition, "high anxiety," in edict to put his style. An homage to the films of Alfred Hitchcock; contains many parodies of famous Hitchcock scenes from THE BIRDS, PSYCHO, and Light-headedness.

Is nothing churchly? Well, not in Mel Brooks' eyes, that's for sure. He reduced the entire wstern kind to a reprobate horse opera of fart gags and pie fights in Blazing Saddles, while Young Frankenstein caricatured the thunderclap melodrama of villainous and whitish nervousness movies so well that it's consistently voted as one of the funniest movies for ever made.
