Not 'so bad it's good'..
so bad it is absolutely bl**dy awful! The opening shot of thousands of Angels crossing the Oakland Bridge is great - but it is all downhill from there. The 'gang' ends up about six strong (one with very dubious facial hair that looks like a rat has died under his nose). As for being 'terrifying' these Angels couldn't scare a five month old baby.
I was embarrassed for Sonny Barger, he helped the film makers and I don't blame him for wanting to bury them all in the desert - they deserve it for making this crap.
I agree with the other reveiwers that the fight scenes are straight out of Batman - I was waiting for the comic book 'Kapow!' and 'Blatt!' but it never came.
Jack Nicholson must have enough money by now to buy up all copies ...
So bad it's good!
This film has dated so badly! Sonny Barger, the founder of the Hell's Angels was liased with in the making of this film but was understandably disappointed with the outcome. In fact I only watched this to see what he was complaining about after reading his superb autobiography. There isn't much of a plot line and the fight scenes are straight out of Batman! The whole thing is a tad cheesey and only worth watching for a laugh with some mates and a few beers
I'm in love, yeah, I'm a believer..
This is a video on Hell's Angels fans, and one of the two reality endorsement by Sonny Barger the founder of the Tophet's Angels movement. It presents a merest rose tinted view, but its an opportunity to suborn into the cabrication and a rare taste of the (at bottom allegorical) audacity that us Thatcher's children have only heard about from our parents.
Fist fights, free be in love with, unperturbed bikes, cheap drugs and spirits and being at one with your mates and against the . Ok, its formula over substance, but its a famous vibe..man.
