Adam Green's horror comedy resurrects Reagan-era stalk and slash in the Louisiana swamps
Still sore at being dumped by his long-term girlfriend, Ben (Moore) has had enough of all the heavy drinking and casual sex at the New Orleans Mardi Gras, and is trying to persuade his pal Marcus (Richmond) to come along on a haunted swamp tour instead. awesome homage to 80's video horror
there are alot of reviews out there slating this movie but 90% of those reviews are writen by people who dont get movies likes this. sure this is no oscar winner and also not a modern day physcological scare fest but it is a great homage to those cheesy horror movies that used to fill video shops in the mid 80's it's good old fashion fun cheap budget bad FX cheap laughs and a few jumpy bits thrown in personally i give this movie 5 stars cos its my kinda thing but in reality it's a 3 star movie to the general people that wanna put there brain on the couch for an hour and a half and have laugh and a small jump
