i luv this but not all the way around.i like it all the way around but it has some dull moments ill agree.shanks was great and is believe it or not worst5 myers alot say.others say best so oipinions are just that,opinions.i luv the return of jamie and rachel.nice chemistry they shared.didnt like how rachel died off as that sucks but i guess it was her time in movie thinking.imagine her in the redo?i liked the scene with the laundry chute and the upstairs scene in his br with him shedding an actual tear.then all hell breaks loose.it got wild and how she manags to survive that idk folks.a bit unrealistic like other secenes but we need heroes.it is better when mikey kills them sorry to say but not the younger ones.theyre time comes later.weird how zombie has her part killed off as she survived the 5th one but its not related to the redo naturaly.maybe an ok idea to see a grown up sexy danielle harris neverless.i wouldve had her survive nd come back for 2 and then maybe getting hacked off.i luv 5 as it complments 4 very nicely.i liked the corfield chase and that punk deserved getting killed almost but so do 1/2 the teens in these films for naivity and such.no offense as i feel that way but never used to until seeing it again and again occurring with obnoxious self righteous teens.the caer and the mask ill ascertain it was belonging to the kid he whacked.he had 2 diff masks in 4 and 5 if you think about it.boy does he get around fast as he gets the finest looking girls too ill note no pun intended.i liked the thorn guy introduced but who knew him in it until 6 explained him.i liked the police station ending and his rescue of all people from it.nice mask and nice walking and swinging the knife as with wilbur and all of the other fascinating myers stuntmen.ill render this film 4/5 stars.

this movie was the downfall of my favorite horror/slasher series. After Halloween 4 became a success this movie was rushed when they should have taken their time and they started filming the movie when the script wasn't even finished. it had potential, but in the end, it was a flop
