Scary stuff!!
For me personally the best kind of film is the one that leaves you too scared to go upstairs on your own afterwards..... The Grudge 2 is that film!! The plot is complex, clever, confusing and bold....in parts it becomes so intricate that it's frustrating to watch because you just don't know where the conclusion lies. However, this movie is white knuckle scary, with jumps and bumps all the way, this more than makes up for some of the zany plot choices. Rare is the occasion where a sequel to a fairly major movie actually meets or surpasses expectations, for me this one did. I don't know whether audiences in general would feel the same, but if you're a real horror fan like me this will push all your buttons. White Noise 2 is next on my list..... watch this space!

The cursed forces at work slowly possess and consume all who enter their domain. The Japanese direction of this film adds a depth, as yet unseen, to films typical of this genre. The Gothic ambiance; the isolated locales and the mystique of Japanese culture ensure that a sense of realism is lent to the story. The iniquity is so ...
