Goal! III
The World Cup finals provide the backdrop for the last installment of the FIFA-sponsored football saga
When FIFA launched the first Goal! movie, you could have heard the fanfare from Mars. Now the third and final film arrives with the sort of reception reserved for cheap cash-in sequels and latter-day Steven Seagal movies.
A straight-to-DVD disgrace, Goal! III sees series stalwart Santiago Munez (Kuno Becker) sidelined by a road accident, so leaving his Real Madrid teammates Liam Adams (JJ Feild, shocking) and Charlie Braithwaite (Leo Gregory, even more shocking) to dominate the soapy storyline. Picked to represent England in the World Cup finals, Liam and Charlie can't wait to soothe those 40 years of hurt. But tragedy awaits the young hopefuls wit...
Robbed 2 hours of my life
Oh my god this film is awful. I've watched the previous 2 Goal films and enjoyed the story of Santiago Munez's rise to fame. However why on earth did the writers decide to sideline this story and focus on two pointless characters and forget the previous story sounding the original character.
This was so painful to watch and i will never get the 2 hours wasted on this movie back, no wonder it went straight to DVD. If you've watched the previous 2, don't waste your time on this one, your be severly disappointed.
Plus the special effects to intergrate the fictional characters into the football games was worse than ever.
