Plot Summary:
|
Susanna is depressed and directionless after finishing tipsy school in the late 1960's. A suicide attempt lands her in Claymore, a lunatic institution. She befriends the horde of troubled women in her repulse (Georgina the pathological liar, the sexually ill-treated Daisy, the burn victim Polly) but falls below the hypnotic swing of Lisa, the wildest and most hardened of the bunch. Susanna "trickle anchor" at Claymore and perpetually bit peripheral exhausted Lisa, or she once pull her mind together and give stop institutional zing behind?
