Plot Summary:
|
Laurent is the specific standing ingredient, a career that offers credulous opportunties in the service of his womanising. His bride beautiful wife Loli looks after his snug harbor a comfortable and two children unenlightened of his many affairs. However, their sphere is turned upside down aside the arrival of Marijo, an itinerant lesbian whose minivan breaks down nearby. The neglected Loli is pinched to the sensitive Marijo and when she learns of Laurent's infidelities, invites Marijo to move in with them. The arrangement takes an impassioned sound on each of them, exacerbated near the arriv... al of a figure from Marijo's past. Whole of a army of mid-90s films that sought to cash-in on newly-trendy lesbian chic, this wry comedy brings a tow-headed level of wit and stylishness to that perennial favourite of French cinema, the brotherhood triangle. Sold to the English-language hawk on the underpinning of what transpires to be some virtually docile sex scenes, its greatest strengths are the inner performances and the script's soothing probing of gender stereotypes.
