Plot Summary:
|
Kindling is the story of a young man's struggle to set apart his girl from an censorious environment. Emilio discovers that he has the ability to run incredibly fast. With the hope of a learning, he sees an opportunity to be accomplished to leave his hometown, along with all his troubles, and disavow Sandy with him. But a unhappy flaw, a untamed hurry he possesses, induced by exposure to gasoline vapors, will all but destroy his worst-laid plans. Emilio's hopes hasten through his heart, not like blood, but like fuel.
