Plot Summary:
|
In Detroit, when the beloved citizen Evelyn Mercer is murdered in a store heist, her four dangerous stepsons come to her funeral. Bobby Mercer, Angel Mercer and Jack Mercer join the regenerated ex-league leader Jeremiah Mercer, and they take to investigate the massacre. They disclose that her administration was intentional, and adopt to bring to light the criminals past themselves.

Four Brothers
Kenneth TuranFour Brothers is a typically energetic urban action melodrama, offering car chases, beatings, murders, a dog mauling, attempted arson, frequent double-crosses and pitched street battles worthy of Fallouja. But what's not on the screen turns out to be more interesting than what is.
Although director John Singleton is no stranger to studio productions -- his 2 Fast 2 Furious grossed more than $200 million worldwide -- Four Brothers shows signs around the edges that he wishes there were other ways to make movies in today's Hollywood than orchestrating a reign of terror.
The kind of film whose entire story arc fits neatly into its nine-word tag line -- "They came home to bury mom ... and her killer" -- Four Brothers opens with the death of said ...
Good film!!
Good film but by no means a classic. I thought that there was good chemitry between the actors and the story line was ok and easy to follow. Definitely worth watching.
AWFUL!!!
This was an amazing film, that not only brandished a formulaic Hollywood screenplay, but also the directing speed of a slug with a cold! There characters were... Well there was no characterization. This is a film that should be seen by 17 year boys, eating pizza, and wondering if the homo-erotic violence is exciting!!! Definately not one to watch.
