Plot Summary:
|
Sam Burton's stand-in wife Neddy is Indian, their son Pacer a half-breed. As struggling starts between the whites and the Kiowas, the Burton kinsfolk is split between loyalties. Neddy and Sam are killed; Pacer sides with the Indians, his half-kinsman Clint with the whites.

Flaming Star
Made before Presley's film zoom descended into pantomime dreck, this has him strongly sling as a mixed-blood lassie stiff to on between the two sides of his heritage. His framer is a ivory farmer, his mother a Kiowa Born American, and when the Injuns knock off to the warpath Presley and his species are caught in the stomach. Vice-president Siegel wears his liberal humanity on his sleeve as he examines racial prejudice on the old frontier, but he keeps the prone of tension maximum. Whatever happens, it will mean tragedy proper for the family, and ultimately Presley require never be on the fetching side. An engaging and then gripping western.
