Plot Summary:
|
Charlie McGee is a unsophisticated skirt with the unwanted and again uncontrollable bounty of pyrokinesis, lighting fires by mere thought. Charlie has been in hiding for approaching all her life from a pre-eminent-secretive command trim gather headed by the mad John Rainbird, who wants to find and use Charlie as the ultimate weapon of war. Vincent is a uninitiated reserved investigator unwittingly sent to look pro Charlie, and evenutally tries to her away from Rainbird, who has formed a congregation of young boys from other examine projects -- each with different individual abilities -- in a... plot to get over the society.

As oppose to the 1st firestarter this one carries on from that explaining what went on in the first throughout although Charlie McGee is played by a different little girl (no Drew Barrymore) as in the 1st.
This movie tells the story of Charlie (now a young woman) living life on the run from those who were after her in the 1st.
Although this one is quite long (approx 2 1/2 hours) I quite enjoyed it.
~Like in some sequels, with this one you don't need to watch the 1st one to understand what's going on
Not bad at all!
Having not seen the first 'Firestarter' film, Im not too sure how good in retrospect this one really is.. But nonetheless, it is actually, very good! Some seriously nice women in it, along with a 'nearly-always' believable plot to follow!.
Definitely worth a look-see, but you might think differently!!
