Plot Summary:
|
The Extravagantly and the Incensed takes you interior the world of street racing. Dominic Toretto is a gang commandant who is accused of hijacking trucks and stealing over a million dollars merit of electronic tackle. The FBI sends LAPD public servant Brian O'Conner confidential into Los Angeles' boulevard racing circle to take possession of down Toretto and his team. As O'Conner becomes join in of Toretto's living and gets intricate with his sister, Mia, he tries to authenticate that Toretto is innocent.

With action films now the size of Siberia, it's easy to overlook modest affairs like The Fast And The Furious. Costing just $38m (a lot to Ken Loach but lunch money to Joel Silver), it's short on stars, CGI and Hiroshima-scale explosions. But while the talent involved is decidedly modest (director Cohen's most notable film to date being the so-so biopic Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story), the film largely succeeds thanks to a straightforward approach and some of the best stunt driving this side of Bullitt.
