Plot Summary:
|
Acting fireworks are on flaunt as Robert De Niro and Meryl Streep play Frank Raftis and Molly Gilmore, two everyday people who meet by unexpected on a commuter train bound as regards Brand-new York and lag desperately in mate--without considering the fait accompli that they are both married. The stellar supporting form includes Diane Wiest (HANNAH AND HER SISTERS) and Jane Kaczmarek (TV's MALCOLM IN THE Central). De Niro and Streep in days gone by starred together in THE DEER HUNTER (1978).

Beautiful Love Story
I watched this film years ago and thought it was great watching it again
didnt dissapoint me at all. such a natural performance as usual from my favourite actors Robert De Niro & Meryl
Streep. No wonder Molly fell for him he's georgeous.
Romantic ? 80's
Two happily married and middle class people travelling often (too often) on the same train to work, fall for each other and abandon their reciprocal partners and families.
A romantic encouter featuring Meryl Streep and Robert DeNiro. Watching it years ago, I thought it was a great love story, but in the meantime, with year 2004, this film has lost a lot of its fascination.
Personally, speaking, having a husband, who travels on the bus every day, this film makes maybe some married couple a litte wonder and anxious about what banal every day's situation can turn into.
