Plot Summary:
|
This autumn, Dr. Earl Headley is eagerly demonstrating what seems to be a miraculous rectify for tuberculosis. Up to this time not farther from where he is working, the condition seems ready to contend that another flair, a young missus named Winifred, who is already Scout's honour unkindly. Winifred's and younger sister Trixie are devastated by the account. When Trixie hears the family doctor say of Winifred that "when the last leaf falls, she will cause passed away", she interprets the doctor's words word for word. Outlook atop of what she has heard, she determines to do everything possibl... e to save her sister.
