Evan Almighty
Carina ChocanoSteve Carell is lovable as God's unwilling disciple. But the comedy is less than divine.God may be in all things, but lately he seems especially at home in a certain kind of big-budget studio comedy aimed at a very particular market. That would be, apparently, the market that loves its zingy Bible puns and its adorable CGI versions of all God's creatures but doesn't want to be made to feel too bad about driving that SUV or heating 6,000 square feet in a just-sprouted development.

Evan Almighty
With Two small children they found this film very funny, actually we ALL had a good
laugh watching the film on Sunday afternoon, infront of the fire with chocolate
and sweets, forget the Cinema, overpriced and overated.
Evans Above!
God sent a rainbow as reminder never again to flood his children. If you take the bible literally, God stuck the rainbow there to remind himself!!! The New God, namely Hollywood, decided it might be fun this summer to flood us anyway, to pour laughter from the skies and shower all with fits of the giggles. Didn't take into account that Britain has had enough rain recently thank you very much. Children will get drenched, adults will remain soberly unaffected. This is a daft movie and will go down a storm for the kids it's intended for. Silly animals arriving at inopportune moments, man with recurring instant beard and 'funny' doings transpiring. All is set to a power hungry vs. environment plot. Unfortunately for adults, the laughter is very weak, bordering on repetition. Ca...
