Plot Summary:

Based on Gail Carson Levine's award winning novel, this is the story of Ella, a green woman who was given a "baksheesh" of agreeableness near a fairy named Lucinda. Mystical fairytale given an update
Hathaway is as warming as ever in this delightful fairytale of a girl who is blessed or cursed with the spell to obey whenever commanded. The film is wonderfully filmed and looks very beautiful with stunning cinematography.
Minner Driver, Jimi Ministry, Patrick Bergen and Joanna Lumley all lend support. The film is a family orientated film and should please most family members. The use of songs is well done. It is a film you can't help but smile with. This is a typical family film but you if you enjoy this type of film, you should enjoy this.

Ella Enchanted is a reworking of the Cinderella story for the 'girl power' generation.
