Plot Summary:
|
Buddy was a baby in an orphanage who stowed away in Santa's and ended up at the North Pole. Later, as an grown up understanding who happened to be raised by elves, Santa allows him to go under to Fresh York Megalopolis to find his parentage shepherd, Walter Hobbs. Hobbs, on Santa's bawdy lean for being a inhumane jerk, had no idea that Buddy was peaceful born. Buddy, meanwhile, experiences the delights of New York City (and human culture) as merely an elf can. When Walter's relationship with Buddy interferes with his robbery, he is studied to reevaluate his priorities.

Mainly For Kids
This film was not as good as I had hoped for Will Ferrell's first real leading role. It has some very funny moments but is mainly just for children to enjoy.
Its embarrassing to admit, but I love this film
Its stupid, its fomulaic, its trashy, its mushy, its obvious and its blatantly a film for kids...but its funny, its silly and its touching in a similar way to 'miracle on 34th street'. We're not talking oscars here...we're talking a gentle way to spend a sunday afternoon. Fun for all the family.
