I wonder why Earth vs. the Flying Saucers doesn't have a stunning success? The director, Fred F. Sears,is very famous and talented person, the cast of the film consisting of such actors as, Hugh Marlowe, Joan Taylor, is successful and glamorous. So the movie must be doomed to the absolute triumph!
If you love old UFO flicks, this is the quintessential 50's Sci-Fi "thriller". I remember seeing this movie as a kid on a Saturday afternoon. It scared the bajebus out of me :-) Ray Harryhausen's stop motion animation makes this movie campy and great. A lot from this movie was also the inspiration for the UFO spoof "Mars Attacks" (Tim Burton 1996). Tune in and enjoy! 8.5/10
