Plot Summary:
|
Another spoof from the skin alive of Mel Brooks. This dilly-dally he's out to poke satirize at the Dracula myth. Basically, he took "Bram Stoker's Dracula," gave it a new colouring and a new script and made a big crack old hat of it. The usual, rich English are attacked aside Dracula and Dr. Van Helsing is brought in to preclude the day.

Dracula: Dead and Loving It
A languid comedy, poking fun at British hampering while sticking surprisingly closely to the plot of the initial novel.
Dracula: Dead and Loving It
Mel Brooks's run of cinematic disappointments continues with this woeful spoof on vampire movies. Leslie Nielsen is dreadfully miscast as the enumerate, although most of the put must be levelled at manager Brooks and his co-writers, who not show no armistice of the type they're sending up but who also seem to have forgotten how to truly write a remotely funny repress. What makes it doubly depressing is that Brooks's other excursion into horror satire, Young Frankenstein, remains limerick of his best films.
