I agree
I agree with above review, one of my fav films ever made, a CLASSIC.
The best ever
I remember seeing this when it first come out, and have been waiting for years for it to come out on DVD. It is by far the best Dracula film ever made. The cast are perfect. But the best of all is John Williams music score, It adds so much atmosper.
Dracula at his best
This (in my humble opinion) is one of the best Dracula movies ever. It is set in 1800s London and oozes atmosphere. Dracula (Frank Langella) is enticing to say the least and doesn't over act the part. Olivier is excellent as Van Helsing, and the filming, storyline and acting is of a high standard. This film is full of suspense, and it is very sexy (without having to resort to nudity). Good as the early Hammer Dracula movies were, this is far more polished and updated and doesn't have the obligatory 'bat on a string'.
The best ever
