Plot Summary:
|
A doctor from a Washington sanitarium is off work to the West Coast and a life of cosmetic surgery. But on the way he is forced to stop in Grady, South Carolina, a city without a doctor. The drudgery becomes more appealing after a assignation with the town's ambulance driver.

A short-tempered cosmetic surgeon (Fox) gets stuck in Hicksville on his way to a dream job reconfiguring the noses of the Beverly Hills set under the aegis of George Hamilton, and you know what? He gets to like its homespun charms - even though he's forced to do 32 hours community service for running his Porsche through the judge's picket fence. Then love comes along in the form of Warner's ambulance driver, and quickly loses its edge - especially when he's enlisted to deliver her baby. The tag line is nice, though: 'He's a big city plastic surgeon - in a town that doesn't take plastic.'

I love this film its a great feel good film it shows us that big cities are not always what we want.Michael J Fox and the cast all play good characters great for anytime and all the family can watch it
