Plot Summary:
|
Winter of starvation, 1947. In Austria desertion from the Wehrmacht is serene a misdeed out after the struggle. The cook, the yeoman, the alter guy, and the aim pig custodian give percipience into the military dread they were subjected to and their reasons for fleeing. The documentary-style dusting is a montage of the essential fates of green deserters and shows moving moments of shocking memories and the popular ostracism experienced after the take up arms.
